This project was my First experience in the Games industry. I came in late as a Intern, dug into the VFX system of the not very well documented engine we worked with and came out on the other side a Employee of House of How. A lot of the VFX you will see in these DLCs is re-skins of the already existing ones from the base game of Minecraft Legends. Re-colorings, tweaked emitters, and some completely new creations.
I worked as the Lone VFX artist for Ichorous Grove, Angry Rats and Magic Carpet.
Later after those we worked on Chess Legends, Endless Hordes, Creature Caretaker and Temple Escape where Victor Doktare entered the fray as a Intern and took care of Temple Escape's VFX. He also helped finish up Creature Caretaker together with me.
Endless horde became my solo - experience for that batch of DLCs. Chess legends was the only DLC that did not have any need for VFX artists.

Even though this was a rough project to deep dive into as my first professional experience it is something i will remember fondly.
When we started to understand the engine and understood what made it tick that made me enjoy myself immensely and wish it had been more profitable, as we could have been able to make some really tight content for it if we were allowed to keep going :-)
Minecraft legends = always in my heart :D
